Memento

This movie was pretty solid. As discussed in class a movie that makes you think as much as this one does is very rare to find. However it was very enjoyable as the viewer became move captivated by Leonard's moves trying to figure out why he has done the things we already know about. The movie drops little hints such as showing Leonard in the chair at the hospital for a brief second where Sammy Jarkis was. Also a quick subliminal shot of a Leonard flicking a syringe gives us a clue that he might be deeper than he and we thought. The use of black and white scenes were also interesting as the viewer could put his/her interpretations of the conversations to use in trying to figure out why he killed Teddy.
